Sofia Manzano critica mal uso de Royalties no litoral norte.

Destaque como economista em 2022, a Profa. Dra. Sofia Manzano da Universidade Estadual UESBA, esteve nesse dia 01/03/2023, no Programa Hora da Notícia (H.N.) da Cancioneiro e detalhou toda a fortuna que as prefeituras das cidades do litoral norte -SP recebem em Royalties da Petrobrás, como aliás a Cancioneiro vem falando desde 2022. Ela explicou ainda como as Prefeitura usam mal esse dinheiro . Esse mal indevido, resulta em tragédias humanas e ambientais, como a de S. Sebastião (com 65 mortes) de Ubatuba ( 1 criança morta ). Além disso centenas de pessoas , nessas e nas outras cidades da região ( Ilhabela, Caraguá e Ubatuba) perderam casas e todos os bens.
Povo tem que ficar fiscalizar e participar mais
Sofia alertou que a comunidade deve ficar atenta, vigiar e participar das audiências públicas, principalmente as da Lei de Diretrizes Orçamentárias, que municípios devem votar até abril de cada ano.
A economista explicou que é a LDO que disciplina como vai se vai elaborar a Lei Orçamentária no fim do ano. E esta, L.O.A. que disciplina o gasto público dos governos nos anos seguintes.
A Economista explicou que as Prefeituras, invés de fazer investimentos públicos pra desenvolver as cidades e gerar riquezas futuras, gastam os royalties em shows caríssimos e na desapropriação de imóveis.
